Did you know LC Nature Park relies on donations and program fees for the entirety of our budget? We don’t receive tax funding or charge big fees, instead preferring to provide a space for all. National Bison Day is our annual day of giving, where we ask you to make an impact by donating to the park so we can feed the animals, keep the trails clear, and keep the gates open for programs and field trips.

The LC Trail Game

Will you survive the LC Trail? This fun game is played as a real-life version of the popular computer game, The Oregon Trail. During the LC Trail, you play as a herd of bison trying to survive as more and more people arrive in Indiana. Learn what challenges bison faced, and see if you and your herd can survive.

Suitable for all ages, requires being able to walk the trails at LC Nature Park. You can get your game cards at the Outlook Barn. Participants will receive an “I Survived/I Didn’t Survive” sticker when they turn in their game cards.

Thank you to our Partners and Sponsors for helping us make this day possible!
