Things to Know

  • Our field trips are designed for one classroom at a time, ensuring an intimate, hands-on learning experience. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate larger groups or multiple classes simultaneously. However, you can book multiple dates to accommodate all of your classes. There is a (10) student minimum to qualify for a field trip.
  • (1) chaperone is required for every (10) students. Chaperones are welcome free of charge, but they must assist in ensuring that students follow park rules and adhere to them as well.
  • You can choose to add on a 30-minute lunch break at our Mills Education Center deck. Please remember, everything you bring in must be taken out. If you’d like this lunch period included in your tour, please confirm by responding ‘yes’ on the booking page.
    • To help us accommodate your group, please inform us of any students with special needs in advance. Teachers should make any necessary arrangements for individual supervision of students with behavioral difficulties.
    • All students, chaperones, and teachers must complete our Field Trip Waiver before arrival. Anyone who does not fill this out will not be permitted to go on the field trip.

    • Once your booking is confirmed, a rules form outlining our Field Trip Rules & Regulations will be sent to the group’s contact. If we do not receive the signed acknowledgment form, your booking will be canceled.
