This month’s Saturday Sprouts program is all about being thankful for nature and giving back! Young learners will explore the many ways nature provides for us and discover simple ways we can show our appreciation by caring for the plants and animals around us.
The session includes a nature walk to observe wildlife and explore the park while learning about ways we can help animals that live in your backyard. Learners will then create their own birdfeeder to take home, giving birds a helping hand while enjoying the outdoors. Through hands-on exploration and creative activities, children will discover that even small acts of kindness can make a difference in nature. They’ll also enjoy a fun, themed snack that connects to the morning’s activities.
Through storytelling, nature exploration, and creative crafting, this program encourages children to appreciate the beauty of fall and discover the many wonders that falling leaves bring to our environment.
Saturday Sprouts is a program aimed for children ages preschool through first grade.
