Saturday Sprouts

Saturday Sprouts is a new program aimed for children ages preschool through first grade and includes a story, a craft, and a snack centered around a different theme each month. It’s a hands-on way for young kids to learn, create, and enjoy time in the environment.

In the February edition we’ll celebrate Valentine’s themes while focusing on kindness toward the natural world. Participants will enjoy a nature-inspired story that highlights love for plants, animals, and the Earth, followed by a craft using hearts and natural elements to express appreciation for nature. We’ll wrap up with a themed snack that ties in Valentine fun, reinforcing the idea that caring for nature can be sweet, joyful, and shared together.
