This month’s Saturday Sprouts program celebrates the magic of nature in winter with some holiday cheer! Young learners will explore how plants and animals prepare for the colder months and discover the special ways nature can be enjoyed during the holiday season.
The session includes a winter nature walk to look for signs of wildlife, seasonal changes, and natural materials around the park. Sprouts will enjoy a holiday themed story before creating a festive, nature-inspired craft to take home. Through outdoor exploration and hands-on activities, children will discover the beauty of winter while celebrating the holiday season. They’ll also enjoy a fun, themed snack with a light Christmas twist!
