Saturday Sprouts

Saturday Sprouts is a new 2026 program aimed for children ages preschool through first grade and includes a story, a craft, and a snack centered around a different theme each month. It’s a hands-on way for young kids to learn, create, and enjoy time in the environment.

This month’s Saturday Sprouts program is all about the fascinating world of pollinators! Young learners will explore how bees, butterflies, and other pollinators play a vital role in helping plants grow and supporting healthy ecosystems. The session features a creative, pollinator themed craft for hands on fun, along with an engaging story time centered on a nature-inspired book. Children will also enjoy a themed snack that connects to the day’s activities. Through storytelling, crafting, and interactive discovery, this program encourages children to appreciate the pollinators that have a big impact on our environment.
