ROANOKE, IN — Costumes, candy, live music, and a fall evening on the trails are coming back to LC Nature Park as the park hosts its annual Trick or Treat Trail on Friday, October 23, from 5–7 p.m. The free, family-friendly event invites children and families to explore the park while collecting candy from local businesses, organizations, and community groups along the trail.
The event made its debut last fall, drawing more than 340 guests, including 181 children. This year, LC Nature Park is expanding the experience with live music, campfires and marshmallows, and more opportunities for families to gather and celebrate the season together.
The Trick or Treat Trail provides a unique twist on the traditional Halloween event, combining the fun of trick-or-treating with an evening outdoors. Families will make their way along the park’s trails, stopping at themed candy stations hosted by community partners along the way.
Community Organizations Invited to Participate
LC Nature Park is seeking local businesses, organizations, and community groups to help make the Trick or Treat Trail possible. Groups can participate by hosting a candy station along the trail, giving them an opportunity to connect with hundreds of local families in a fun and festive setting. Participation is free; organizations simply provide their own candy and may decorate or theme their station if they wish.
Organizations and businesses can also support the event through sponsorships, which help LC Nature Park keep the Trick or Treat Trail free for local families. Sponsorship opportunities are available at several levels, with benefits including event signage, website and social media recognition, and promotional opportunities.

The event is free and open to all. It will take place at LC Nature Park, 9744 Aboite Road, Roanoke, Indiana.
