My First Month as Executive Director at LC Nature Park

I am thrilled to share my first monthly update with you as the new Executive Director of LC Nature Park. It has been an exhilarating journey immersing myself in the rich natural beauty and vibrant community spirit that defines this sanctuary. In just a few short weeks, I have had the privilege of witnessing some incredible moments that embody the heart and soul of our mission.

One of the highlights of my first month has been the joy of welcoming new bison and elk calves into our park family. These precious arrivals remind us of the importance of conservation efforts and inspire us to continue preserving our natural habitats for future generations. Seeing these majestic creatures thrive fills me with immense pride and reinforces our commitment to protecting and restoring lands in Indiana.

Additionally, I have the pleasure of experiencing Camp Trillium, where our dedicated team of educators is nurturing the next generation of environmental stewards. Witnessing the enthusiasm and curiosity of the children as they explore nature trails, learn about local flora and fauna, and engage in hands-on activities is truly inspiring. Our summer camp programs are not only fostering a love for the outdoors but also instilling a deep respect for wildlife and wild places.

Behind every successful initiative at LC Nature Park is a team of passionate individuals who work tirelessly to uphold our mission. I am grateful to collaborate with such a talented and dedicated group of professionals who bring creativity, expertise, and unwavering dedication to everything they do. Together, we are shaping a future where nature and community thrive in harmony.

As we look ahead to the coming months, I am excited about the possibilities and eager to build upon the strong foundation that has been laid before me. Your continued support and generosity play a crucial role in our efforts to preserve and protect our natural heritage. Thank you for being a part of our community and for your commitment to the mission of LC Nature Park.

See you soon!
