Entering its fifth year, Camp Trillium welcomes Camp Director Katie Burrows back for her third summer. Armed with a strong educational background and an enthusiasm for experiential learning, Katie has a remarkable ability to inspire and guide young explorers. We are excited for yet another incredible season under Katie’s expert leadership!

These scholarships are available for students in each grade group who are part of the free or reduced lunch program. Has your child outgrown the age limit? They can still join in on the fun as a Teen Camp Volunteer! Volunteers assist Camp Trillium staff with daily duties, including activity setup, leading camp songs and games, clean up, and more! Find more information here.

Camp Trillium FAQ

Is advanced registration for Camp Trillium Required?

All LCNP programs require advanced registration, which must be done online. Phone registrations are not accepted. Openings are limited, so register early to avoid disappointment. You will receive a confirmation when your registration is processed.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made up to 2 weeks before the first day of camp are eligible for a 90% refund (10% for fees).

There are NO REFUNDS for cancellations made within two weeks of the start of camp.

LC Nature Park reserves the right to cancel any camp with insufficient registration. In the event of such a cancellation, you can switch (based on availability) to a different week of camp or receive a full (100%) refund.

Will Camp be in session on the July 4th 2024 holiday?

No, there will be no camp sessions during the week of the July 4th holiday, which is June 30th through July 4th, 2025.

What should I bring to camp?

You will receive an information sheet via email two weeks prior to the start of your camp.

Can a parent accompany their child to camp?

No, we do not allow parents to accompany their children to camp. Camp is a time for them to connect with nature (animals and plants), build social skills, and make friendships with one another.

Is there a lost and found?

If you have lost something while at camp, please contact camp staff or call the park at 260-999-3153. Items will be held until August 1st, one week after the conclusion of the camp season.

My child is old for their age; can they attend the older kids’ camp?

All campers must meet the grade requirement on the first day of camp. e.g., If your child is entering 1st grade at the end of summer, they must attend the camp for 1st graders.

Can my child attend multiple weeks of camp?

Yes, your child may attend multiple weeks of camp. However, different weeks of the same age group will not have different activities.

What is your current COVID-19 policy?

LC Nature Park will follow the guidelines set by the Allen County Department of Health, which were developed with advice from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

What if my child isn’t feeling well?

If your child is showing symptoms of illness, please keep them at home and contact us at 260-999-3153 about their absence.

What is the ratio of campers to instructors?

Each camp is limited to 22 campers, and at full capacity, the ratio will be 22 campers to 2 instructors.

Are your instructors first-aid and CPR trained?

Yes. There will be a minimum of one instructor present who is first-aid and CPR-trained.

My child needs to take medication. Can you help my child with this?

No, campers must be able to administer medication themselves while at camp. Camp counselors can remind them to take their medication by themselves if needed. If you have any medication concerns, please discuss this with the Camp Director.

My child has an allergy. Can I provide Camp Trillium with an epinephrine injector?

Yes, you will need to supply an EpiPen for your camper. Camp counselors are trained in basic first aid, including administering EpiPens, and they will carry them with the group throughout the camp day.
