Education Programs
Be a part of educating children of all ages at one or a few of the diverse number of programs throughout the year. Approximate attendance ranges from 20-50 per program. Sponsors receive name recognition associated with their program on the website, social media, e-news and at the event.
CURRENT EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Winter Tracks: Help support kids of all ages as they learn about the animal behind the tracks they find while hiking in wintery nature. Activities and hot cocoa after! (January 2023)
Wake up Woods: Help bring this famous book alive for families as they explore the park learning about flora featured in the book. (May 2023)
Lighted Lantern Hike: Be a part of a unique evening in the spring exploring nature among the light of a lantern.

Calves and Coffee: Enjoy a Saturday morning overlooking the prairie and our first sping bison babies as local coffee brewers present their coffee and pastries. (June 2023)
Owl Prowl: In time for Halloween, we dress up (owl themed is fun) and help kids of all ages experience a live owl up close and personal while learning more about this fascinating nocturnal species. (October 2023)
Fireside Friday: Bonfires on a Friday. What a great way to end the work week. (September, November 2023)
Nature Explorers: Be a part of this monthly school season event reaching 3-5 year-old kids once a month as they enjoy a book, snack and short hike. (August, September, October, November 2023)
Cookies & Cocoa: Support the tradition! A wintry hike, followed by hot cocoa around a roaring fire and decorating gourmet, locally made bison and elk-shaped cookies.
