Program Coordinator

Position Type: Part-time, hourly, permanent

Pay Range: $18-21

Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (weekend & evening hours required)

Reports To: Executive Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee park open hours; currently, Saturdays with limited pre-scheduled Friday and Sunday hours, ensuring a welcoming and engaging visitor experience.

  • Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of park programs, including preparation, marketing, and cleanup.

  • Provide support during private tours and field trips, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest service.

  • Collaborate with staff and the Programming Committee to design engaging programs for visitors of all ages.

  • Support park staff with administrative tasks, including paperwork and data entry.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service, event coordination, or education.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Comfortable working weekends and outdoors.
